They Are Still Going Could Reach 1400 Miles

Checked this afternoon at work and they reached 1,000 miles with Carl Edwards at the wheel and still had a 3rd of a tank left. They figure they will be going on until tomorrow and reach maybe 1,400 miles. That is just over 80 mpg. Look, I know it is all city miles and they are hypermiling, but they are creating an interest in hybrid cars that no one has done before and shows that Ford "GETS IT" when it comes to promotion and thinking outside the box. American car company doing something that focuses attention on saving gas and in innovative way. The naysayers are all over the net and have been posting all sorts of negative comments about this and I don't know why. Tell me what you think.
